We are looking for strong, passionate and highly motivated "self motivated" inside sales representative. As a Inside Residential Sales Representative, you are responsible for devising and executing a sales plan from inbound calls and qualified leads. You will be representing Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. We are proud to bring the most-recognized lawn and garden brands in the industry. In the U.S., the Company's Scotts , Miracle-Gro and Ortho brands are market leading in their categories.

This position is located in Elgin, right off I90 and Route 31. (35 mins from O'Hare and 40 mins from Rockford)

Functions of the Job:
Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly sales objectives including but not limited to contacts, closing, average application price and retention rates
Must maintain minimum sales requirements as determined by the sales plan
Ensure compliance with Scotts financial, regulatory, environmental, and ethical policies and guidelines
Must be able to provide accurate data entry and use technical web-based tools
Will be taking inbound calls from prospects that WANT service
Will be making outbound calls to our current customers, educating them on additional services we offer

Compensation Plan (Bi-Weekly)
Base pay
Two Commissions
2014 average compensation was $45,000
2015 average compensation will be $55,000 - $60,000

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred
Experience:
At least 1 year experience in the sales industry (will train the right people)
Mathematical and problem solving skills

Requirements:
Basic computer skills
Able to multitask
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Must have excellent oral and written skills
Valid driver's license or ID

Education
High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, able to sit for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus based on use of a computer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
